Oh thats good, bet you were both grateful of that

My maths tutor actually wrote my coursework for me. I hated that woman, sucked all the fun out of maths.

I've lucked out this time round, put the effort in my other exams so I've got an easy run in - 5 exams - 2 on 5th June, 2 on 16th June and 1 on 20th June. Got a long time to revise and in 3 of the exams I only need half marks to come out on an overall A because I did well in AS and the first set of A level exams in January. Should comfortably come out on AAA and that'll get me into uni with a grand a year scholarship :)

Good luck then with that :) a grand a year extra will no doubt be a brilliant help, just don't spend it stupidly.

One thing I have learned at University is that A levels are suddenly irrelevant, and the people who have the 'best' or most A levels feel like they have been conned because of people like me getting into uni with rubbish grades. You meet some extremely clever people who have done rubbish at A level and some ridiculously stupid people with brilliant A level results. In other words, try not to get to uni and think your brilliant for getting 3 A's at A level, because you'll soon realise nobody cares!

What degree are you going to be doing and which Uni are you going to?

No I'm not grateful because at the time I wasn't bothered about her doing it, but I look back now and feel a bit of a liar about that maths result. I was more than capable of doing the work to the standard I achieved, but I just didn't. I don't think you should be grateful of somebody encouraging your lazy attitude to something :p

Computing for Business Applications @ University Of Manchester

And yea, I know the results aren't an accurate representation, some subjects are so much easier than others, my girlfriend is just as if not more intelligent than me however because she does maths and sciences she's going to struggle to get the 3 B's she needs where I'm walking in the 3 A's in law, psychology and computing.
