You are assuming it was a Tory, maybe it was a Labour supporter who then admitted it to try and cause trouble. :D

No twisted thinking from me Neil , maybe I am too honest !
I can't understand why, if someone wanted to fudge the poll , they would be daft enough to do it from the same pc, it's not rocket science surely?
So it smacks of a very blinkered person, obsessed by the Dobbo is right ethos.
I would imagine the Observer could follow it up, after all, they will have the miscreants IP address eh?

That would have needed 317 different internet connections assuming one ip per connection. I wonder if Tony has 317 friends :D.

As for following it up to find the deviant I doubt that the ISP in question would be forced by law to give out details for such a serious crime :D. Even publishing the IP would probably be a breach of data protection laws.

Thank goodness it wasn't anything important.

At first I thought they were suggesting the Bonny Baby competition had been rigged.

OMG I never thought of that.

I still can't believe that the vote could be rigged. What a naff system that counted all those votes from the same PC.

I must be too thick to be a cheat.

Once you've voted in their poll, the option then disappears.

Obviously a way round that, but it's beyond me.

I agree with a lot of people what a crap system, you can't rig a poll on here, so how can it happen on the Observers. I have to say that I think the Obs web site is also crap its not a patch on the Telegraph:rolleyes:

Didn't vote on it myself, 'cause still not sure exactly what we were voting on !

See that Cllr. Dobson stated to the Observer, that he didn't even know they ran a poll (well, have to sorta' believe him I suppose). Bet you know Jaysay.

Then he throws his toys out of his pram by stating: "I am getting a bit fed up of all this now. All I was doing was trying something a little bit different and I get all this aggro". sob, sob. You will sir, if you are not willing to explain to us common folk exactly how you did it !! Then we can judge.
