Re: Today's dumb cooking question

I remember my husband once explaining to me why the shiney side should be on the outside. It was all to do with convection of heat reflecting in the oven and retaining heat inside which helped the inside of the food to cook at the same rate as the outside - or something. I have a vague recollection I fell asleep before he got to QED. :D

Anyway, I wrap with the shiney side out. :)

How many rolls of tin foil did it take to wrap the goat up?:rolleyes::D

Don't forget to open the foil just before the end of cooking so his fat goes crispy.

I wonder if a tinfoil condom would be a viable proposition?

I use baco non-stick foil, so ya have to use the dull side because its the non-stick side:D

As for normal foil, it doesnt matter which side ya use, they work equally;)
