Re: Being let down..

I cant understand why anyone would offer to do something for you and then avoid you like this, were they aware of exactly what you wanted from them? Are they saying they haven't got the stuff? You've obviously already asked for it back, I would let them know in a calm way how let down you feel and never take them up on any other offers of help.

I've asked for the stuff back 100 times and they haven't even acknowledged my emails or pms on here. They're just ignoring me.

As has been said think your only option is to go to their house and hopefully you can get things sorted. Just can't for the life of me understand why anybody would offer to help and then not do it, then again that is me wouldn't offer if I couldn't help:(

I'm sort of hoping that this thread at least prompts the person to post the stuff back to me, or at least let me know what's going on.

I hope this thread does prompt the person in question to contact you.

I've had a similar thing happen to me in the past....why oh why do people offer something and then go into hiding, leaving you in the lurch?

right the way i see it, if whoever has been online either since you asked fer yer stuff back or since ya posted this thread,to not reply to you is a letdown nothing more, but to not contact you regarding the return of yer stuff is reprehensible, on that basis i reckon any excuse is pure BULL. if it was me i would be very angry at such treatment n therefore name @ shame. :alright:

Well ok, it is possible that I may have exaggerated a little there but I've emailed and pm'd on a regular basis for the last two months - at least once week, sometimes more often.
