Blackburn Road Closed

Blackburn Road is closed, there is a fire. It looks like it is a factory just on the left after Church traffic lights. Plenty of emergency services present

So--- another victim of the change in the law on the charging of business rates
... which is ... if it's usable, it's taxable
Burning the roof off is a way of avoiding business rates.
If I recall right, this is the 3rd empty building which has gone up in flames in recent weeks

Just had to let Anne know about this as she is working at the nursing home just the other side of all this.
as luck would have it she can get a lift home otherwise it would be a long walk or taxi home.
