Well said.

When you do report something you should always ask for and make a note of the log number. That way if you see the same thing again you an report it again referencing the original log number. That gives more weight to the incident as it is a repeat.

It also lets you know they have recorded you incident and not just ignored you - cynical yes, but I do think it happens :(
