the redback spider likes to make a nest in the DUNNY [toilet] and hides under the seat , it,s bite is not life threatening,but it can make you very sick.

Emigrated to Australia.
over here they got real spiders.
we get huntsmans in our house up to 80mm across, they bite if pushed but no venom.
we also get white tails. small but a bite will cause your skin to rot very bad.
went to a outback toilet when my eyes adjusted to the dark i found i was surrounded by really big nasty spiders. i think they were bird spiders.up to 120mm.
Red backs on the toilet seat are known to be common in the outback.
and just to finish it off it has been known that if you sleep on the grond in your sleeping bag you may wake up with a snake in with you, it gets in for warmth.
