Political Photo Shoots
Many of our political leaders both local and MP's spend a hell of a lot of time posing in front of the camera to make them feel good or look good.
If someone makes a speach that makes the headlines and sounds good he or she has won a do. What about the one's who drop a right clanger? Let us know of your experience that irk's you most? The false smile on Hazel Blears gets right up my nose. |
Re: Political Photo Shoots
I'd love to contribute to the thread, but have no idea what it's about.
I feel as if I've entered a parallel universe. One without the demon drink. |

If you want it spelt out word for word I will be happy to do so. I am going to bed now...you can leave all the clap trap that you want.....I will either respond to it or ignore it, as I usually do. Captain Morgan Rum is bloody good, gives you inspiration to defend yourself against a pain in the arse......Goodnight Noddy :) |
Re: Political Photo Shoots
Is it about how politics is all image based? There can never be a bald P.M. /Kennedy beat Nixon because he shaved moments before that crucial televised head to head, and therefore looked more trust worthy, and less like his shifty swarthy opponent, that sort of thing?
Is it about great orators? Is it a slag off Hazel Blears thead? Is it about the worst/funniest political speeches ever made? 'Posing to look good'? Is it all about ego...when you only have a small one? |

George Osborne and Peter Mandelson get on my boobs. Maybe it’s just their face but they both always seem to look so damned smug in any given photo :camera8:

Since he dropped out of front line politics, I like listening to Tony Benn, I know we are totally opposites politically, but he does put his point over in a very forceful way without being over barring politically

A little research of our own.;) Two minutes of your time will reveal all, and will stop the need for constant explanations of any mystifying facts, and bits of humour that...whoosh...seem to go right over the heads of some people. Bless, leave him alone. He's only answered to get his post count up, as it seems it's very important to him. Though personally I feel quality is always preferable to quantity, but I suppose that's his prerogative. Perhaps he might post yet again, and decipher for the rest of the forum what the original drunken ramblings mean, and explain what this thread is about. |

A friend of a late friend, who knew him, told me last week that he was a prat. Art imitates life...and Accy Web obviously mirrors the 'real' world. As for going limp, that'll never happen, though I am still intrigued as to the subject of this thread, and would love to be informed by said prat. Otherwise I think it should be moved to Anything Goes...and therefore none of the posts in this thread will count towards member's post counts.:D |
Re: Political Photo Shoots
If I understood what is meant by 'political photo shoots', I could say Margaret Thatcher shot herself in the foot, when she used the royal 'we', when she informed the press 'We have become a grandmother'.

It is a term you have used yourself against many. Do you see how many team up to protect you from our combined intellectual might? So far NIL! Why? Because just about everyone is fed up with you, it's not just rindy and myself, you have an absolute go at everyone. Accyweb doesn't need you to leave, it just needs you to stop being nasty, nasty is my job then I take it on the knuckles from everyone else. Be a member, consider others and they may consider you, act the way you are and no-one will miss you they won't even say goodbye. Behave yourself share your lifetimes experiences don't force them down everyone's throat. You're over in Spain missing folk or else you'd be out with your mates instead of on here all day howling at the moon. Everything anyone else does is an insult to you, stop it, become part of the community you seem determined and will inevitably fail to tear down. |

How many times have you reminded me that you run the forum? Why should you be in a position to call me a prat on a public forum? If I was to put on my website, with a link to Accyweb. Dont take any notice of Less, he is a prat. I don't think that would go down very well....do you? |

http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...ges-31627.html Even after all this pleading I guess I'll never now know what this thread is supposed to be about. I can't make any sense of the inebriated ramblings, and even after asking repeatedly asking for an answer, none has been forthcoming. For the sake of what little sanity I have left, I feel the need for a little holiday in Ignoresville. Goodbye Royboy39, I wish I could say it's been a pleasure, but I can't.:( |
