It all comes down to what Facebook thinks is acceptable. They think it was not suitable for their site so they took them down.

She must have known what was and wasn't acceptable before she posted her photos, and she got the result she wanted from it - loads of publicity, as she has said she's not bothered whether the publicity was good or bad - she's just happy to have got it for free - says it all really! Unfortunately, Stanley have been drawn into the same publicity and like Margaret I cannot understand why the club needs such an association.

Does anyone consider that we are all, at some level and to some degree, attracted by the prurient? That all of us, some secretly, some openly feel the titillation (word of the day) of peeking at what society in general claims is "naughty." We seem to be heading towards a more global society open to the net and to novel ways of interacting; and what a sick, twisted society it could become .... permissiveness battling puritanism, with most of the puritans paying mere lip-service to their beliefs ... fun stuff! (The new puritans are a lot like the old ones who objected to bear-baiting, not because of the pain it gave to the bear, but because of the pleasure it gave to the spectators). The world has changed .... the old rule book has become ineffectual, perhaps irrelevant ... we need new guidelines to address the new realities. Or maybe a little Anarchy (not chaos) would be in order ... (an accidental pun).

Now, more importantly, I wonder if I can get a subscription to Beano, and have it mailed to the colonies:confused::D

Well I think the Dandy is still going, but its not on my weekly intake of literature these days Eric:D However, I seem to think that DD has changed recently can recall something about it being aired, but can't remember what. Think he must have gone PC and now takes the horns of the cow and wipes its backside before he eats it these days:D:rolleyes::p

WOW... nice to see that people have so many different views on me however you all have obviously heard rumours and listened to what has been said.

Anyway here it is right form the horses mouth...

No-one on facebook could look at anything on my profile including pictures as my profile was private & could only be viewed by my friends, any they are all over the age of 18 thats for sure, actually my little sisters 14 and she has access to it but she is fully aware of what i do and fully supports me like the rest of my family.

Now my pictures were not VIOLATING the terms & conditions of facebook and unfortunately the thnig that got me deactivated is someone reported me a "so called friend" saying that they where so they have to act upon any complaint immediately, not the observer run the story without me being made aware but the telegraph i agreed too. They then went on to sell them to the national papers and yes i did provide the pictures too them but i didnt sell the story... Did i really ask for all this publicity? nope i didnt, but im surely not whinging about it.

I understand tha everyone is entitled to there own opinion and i fully appreciate you all doing so, i also dont mind the critisism as this is based on everyones own opinion and it is what is expected with the career i want to persue.

Just thought i would get my point acroos to you all who obviously dont know the real story

Toni

I respect your right to tout your body for personal gain, but object to this forum being used to promote it.

Accrington Stanley has a family membership too and the girls who attend should not look to you as a role model

there is a difference between nudity and pornography, i havent seen the pictures on her facebook but i have seen her profile pic as we have facebook friends in common, as the mum of a 7 year old boy that doesnt bother me that much, its just a body! its not dirty or wrong..

children can see more on a page 3 girl and the same amount of nudity on a mens magazine in the newsagents!

I explored that link which she put in the thread on the Stanley forum.
Just because tabloids exploit female nudity, does not mean that we should do the same here.

I have no issue at all with what this young lady is doing, but there is a similar link on another thread on the Stanley section.

Not a prude, but this would have been 'relegated' to the over 18's in normal circumstances. Think the fellas are enjoying it though ...

i have been doing glamour modelling for nearly two years now, it isnt porn what i do but many people would class it as quite arty and classic, i do show my lady gems etc but no in your face kind of way, i have had my portfolio done and its absolutley amazing and my confidence has rocketed, believe it or not my familiy and partner are very proud of me. i have facebook but i don't put my pictures on as i am contracted by an agency to only allow them to take the pictures and promote me for any jobs. any other pictures eg, nights out and with familiy or friends i am allowed to put up, but any that are related to my modelling i am not allowed, which does not bother me as im not up for the fame side of it, i am happy with people letting them use there imagination!!!!

I have no issue with glamour photography, and most of my female don't either. Most women these days accept that people are free to chose what they want to do, and feel that if anyone is being exploited it's the men that buy the magazines, calendars etc.:D

I'm glad you're doing well.

I remember your dad proudly showing me some photographs your cousin had taken, who also had a successful career in the glamour business, so I'm not suprised you're also getting your family's full support.

Good luck.

:)
