The trouble is MTT that if the police catch these brain dead muppets, all they get is a pat on the head and a sugar lump:(

Mindless vandalism.

Can you not get one from Scrap Yard or on Ebay, will be a lot cheaper than the main stealers.

Re: Wing-mirror smashed

a street near kwikfit is quite often victim to some one going down cars with their keys , each time it happens the damage stops at the same spot so im guessing its the same idiot on his way home from the pub or somthing.

i think considering how much a scratch alone can cost to repair it shoud be quite legal to stamp on somones head if you catch them doing damage to your car

but we dont live in a fair world sadly

like said before try scrap yards , wing mirrors usualy just clip on and dealers love to bump up prices or ring the dealers and ask how much for the part only and get a local garage to fit it

Car fixing is husbands job, being angry at said muppet is my job :D

Same thing happened to me when I lived on Exchange St. and to add insult to injury I got taken to court and fined for having a defective wing mirror. They never caught the person that did it.:stop:

If it's the passenger side then you don't actually need it as long as you have one on the drivers door & the rear view mirror in the middle of the windscreen.

I can remember a couple of years ago, a gang of yobs decide to lay musical chairs on our carpark, using roofs of cars for seats, they dented about half a dozen including my other halves, the police came, plus SOCO but we never heard anything

Re: Wing-mirror smashed

Just to let you all know, the motor wasnt broken and Kris has glued the casing back together. So we just need a piece of mirror for it and its fixed :D
My poor husband does panic sometimes !

Both of mine got done early one Sunday morning by two imbociles running up & kicking the wing mirrors in tandem. They were heard coming & seen as they had their fun! One got pulled later but let go as only back of his t shirt seen. Little oik has dropped himself in it since by bragging to mates & sometime he will be paying similar costs in dental treatment. Its time these pilled up & alclohol laden rabble were dealt with or named & shamed as they are regularly out Sat nights causing trouble. :hidewall:

Named and shamed Al they'd take it as a badge of honour never mind a punishment, its time they brought back Borstal and took the little scrots of the streets period:(
