Ah well you are getting to the real bacis Steeljack.. no immagrants are allowed in the UK unless they are legally entiltled to do so..or they may seek asylum ..it's easy to jump a ship from say africa to Spain or travel inland from east europe to France ..but then you have the English channel... that is the main stumbling block for ilegall immagrants... now this is what I'm getting at ....can understand how the boat migrants from Africa can enter Europe thru Spain or Italy , but , just for example an Afghani or Iraqi, who wants 'asylum' in the UK has to pass thru at least 7 or 8 countries if traveling overland to get to the channel ports in France including Turkey, Greece, the ex Yugoslav countries, Austria, Germany etc. Wheres the border controls for these countries . No way in hell can I imagine the border police in Iran , Jordan or Turkey allowing undocumented persons transit thru their territory , just does not happen ,have lived there, even the Hajjis heading to Mecca have a tough time , as for transit thru the ex Yugoslav states forget it , Serbs,Croats and Bosnians showing kindness to outsiders ...thats a joke.
