I've never been a fan of Michael Jackson or his music.

I can't understand the fuss myself.

I wouldn't bother going if he was at the theatre in Ossy.

You know that's never going to happen.

All we'd get is 'Bad' Jicheal Mackson, the number two tribute act in Ireland.:D

Good ol' Jarv is on BBC Four at the moment on a collection of videos from old Rough Trade bands. Damn the millennium. It ruined everything. :D

And what about: "Nobody ever went broke by underestimating the public taste." One thing I don't agree with is that Jackson is the "whitest black" in the world. That honour should go to another American, Colin Powel. But if people want to see an American freak show, one that is almost as wacky as the Bush administration and much less dangerous, I don't see any problem ... and let's face it, the lad might need some coin to pay his legal bills.

Ha! Very true. :D

The show would then be cancelled due to poor ticket sales. :D

Ah yes, supporter of apocalyptic race wars and genrally all-round 'good guy' Charlie Manson. What a miscarriage of justice, poor bloke. I mean, what kind of world do we live in where a man whose only real crime (if indeed it can be called a crime!) is conspiracy to murder can be sent to prison?

Back on topic, I don't care much for Jacko's music except for a couple of Jackson 5 singles, but considering he is one of the biggest pop acts of all time I'm not that suprised that there's a big demand for tickets.

I thought Michael Jackson was broke?
And also that with the most recent accusations of paedophilia, he didn't pay the family off, he was found not guilty?

'Jordy Chandler made headlines around the world a decade ago when, at the age of 13, he testified in court documents that Mr Jackson had engaged in "sexual offensive contacts". Although Jordy subsequently became the chief beneficiary of a legal settlement worth anywhere from $15m (£8.8m) to $40m.'
