I have said before, in this forum, that I went grey-haired very early. I was grey by the age of 30, though I dyed my hair until I was 60, and it's an hereditary thing; my dad was grey by the age of 25. The question is, when does the rest of your hair go grey? I mean, to be on the safe side of indelicate, my eyebrows are still very dark brown (my hair wasn't that dark, more of a chestnut brown) and, well you know, other hair is sort of light brown. Of course I shave it so you wouldn't know but it's true. Yes, I shave my legs OK? :mad8: My late husband had very dark hair all his life but his beard went grey in his late 40s. He was quite a hairy bloke but all the body hair was dark brown, it was just the beard. So, when does it happen - anybody know? Will my eyebrows eventually go as grey as my head hair and will my leg hairs match? Will I be too old to give a damn? :blink8: |

Well, I can't answer for you, but I have a grey streak at either side of my head.......and my eyebrowns have gone grey in patches.......which is odd as it makes them look badly plucked. Leg hairs still have their full colour...how unfair is that:( |

I don't think the 'Grey for Men' is effective on toenails :D

Re: things that make me feel old
My body hair has vanished. Being fair/ginger I never had much to begin with.
A few sparse, well spaced ones on my lower legs is all I have left. My head hair is still thick and is turning to 'salt and pepper', with silver bits near my ears. |

Re: things that make me feel old
Vacuum cleaner collapsed on me t'other day, and despite advice from my bank statement, have been forced to go out and buy a new one.
Didn't go expensive and seems quite cute. It is still on my kitchen floor in its box ... normally I would be quite excited by new household products and would rip its covering off like ???? (interprete the way you wish) ... but can't be arsed yet to even open the box ... have I been there, done that and a sign of old age ? :( |
Re: things that make me feel old
Being told by someone who went to the same school as me that she's attending the 25 yr anniversary of leaving school. Then have her point out that I was in the year above her!!!!!
