would you start again at 66?

Shock at pregnancy of woman, 66 - , - Latest news & weather forecasts - MSN News UK

would you want to be running around after a child when you get to 70?

don't think they should be allowed IVF at that age, not fair on the child.:(

This woman is selfish.......and she won't be doing the running, because according to the papers she has hired a live in nanny.
Having a child is not a right.

And as to your original question, the answer is a most emphatic NO.....I would rather eat my own eye balls.

It doesn't state whether she is married or has a partner does it, or any other children ?

Read an article last week on a 57 year old who did the same, but she had a husband 11 years younger than her, and thought no different to men having babies with much younger women.

However, I am 66 next time ... and 'no way', got used to space now.

Kate she is divorced....and as far as the papers are aware, no man in the picture.

I wonder what the risks to baby and mother are at that age?
The chances of birth defects must be higher as well.

There is a reason why women stop being able to have children.

I'm not that old yet, but the grand children I have I like running around with, I can at least hand them back at the end of the day.

The need to reproduce should be left to those with the Hormones, if anyone deserves help it's the potential parents of 'child baring age', not some selfish person that left it too late.

Selfish woman, no I definately would not like to start again.

Re: would you start again at 66?

And how can this be a 'shock' pregnancy?
She sought out an egg donor and had IVF.....not much shock there unless she was shocked when she received the bill.......and Yahoo News reports that she 'fell' pregnant.......intimating that it was a natural conception.......what a load of rubbish.

she says she isn't concerned about what other people may think.........and those who really know her will, I am sure have been in the 'know' well before now.
