of all teh things that need sorting out in teh world they came up with the idea of changing the name of a desert

just 1 more good idea like this and they may well accomplish world peace

are the books dick turin going to be renamed in council libarys ?

mind you i hear the recipe for spotted richard is less salty tasting than spotted dick

I notice that this nonsense occured in Wales, which is only to be expected of that place. It is government policy there that all official literature - which includes canteen menus - are tranlated into the local venacular. The Welsh for Spotted Dick, is I believe, 'Spottio Dickio'. I do not know, however, what the translation of the new name will be. It will, as usual, cost money - which the boyos there won't mind, because it is the English taxpayer who will be forking it out.
