I lived in Rishton for 26 years, I have the requisite number of toes and speak and write grammatical English. If some of you go two miles out of your comfort zones you get positively xenophobic! :)

Words are used to form pictures in brains.

Rather than say that 'some people need pictures too',
perhaps it is better to humbly admit that your use of words is inadequate

Have to agree , some are way over the top , ridiculous , more money than sense , it also gets my goat that they call Father Christmas , Santa Claus .....just another plot by the 'international money folks' to take Baby Jesus (Christ) out of Christmas :eek: :eek:

I agree :D just pointing out that Santa Claus is /was St. Nicholas and those who insist on using this name should be celebrating him on December 6th the day he visits homes in Holland ,Belgium, Germany and Denmark, accompied by his helper Zwarte Peit ( Black Peter) the guy who carries the sack to take naughty children away in . ;)
