Well it seems the real good news isn't these jobs being transfered after all, but that some people still get the Citizen.

It's what's known by those who work for a living as a 'transfer'.

Although I think it's good news if it saves the County Council money, and there will be a knock on effect for Accrington, or at least Tescos when it opens, when they pop out for a butty.

Probably because they can regrade the posts and pay lower wages.
