It's in a very similar vein as the type of songs/remembrances our Colonial cousins in the States do, but usually they tend to be a little more over the top, having said that check out "If you're reading this " by Tim McGraw. Anyway very fitting and very British, I liked it

I have worked for approximately 17 years in Saudi Arabia.
No religous services other than Muslim except at the Embassies. You follow the rules of the country - you cannot protest in public against the laws. You accept the job/country and you live by their rules. If you break them then you spend time in Prison and are then kicked out of the country never ever to return. Bye the way - there are no Christian Churches allowed in Saudi Arabia which is the centre if the Islamic Faith and Christians or other non-muslims cannot be buried there.

very true but if we did that in our country we would be classed as racist !!! i recently joined a group on facebook called "why are whites the only race that can be racist ? ".....to me that pretty much says it all, by no means am i racist but it just seems nowadays that the law is always against us !!!!

because when we disagree with somthing we have a good grumble and get on with life

when they disagree with somthing they riot , call for beheadings or parade through the street screaming and shouting that they are peacefull

now if you wanted an easy life in power wouldnt you just give the noisey ones what they want and ignore the silent grumblers because that is how it works at number 10

That's so true..........always been the same with the brits tho, as you said have a moan, get nowhere and give up....we never stick to our guns, pardon the pun, and see things thro.........but nowadays we know we'll get nowhere...so why bother :(

This is what should have happened to the scum.

The fact that Brown and his gutless Home Secretary didn't have the courage to embark on this course of action...and the fact that Cameron didn't have the courage to suggest it says a lot about the politicians of this country.
