They've been around for ages and it surprises me that they haven't done the same with the £10 note. I've not seen a crisp fiver in ages either, time for the coin to be properly introduced methinks.

Even with the Hologram thing the forgers are still managing to produce a decent forgery. Quite often see it in the papers over here, usually 20's & 50's, as they seem to raise less eyebrows when bandied about in payment.

They reckon it's highly qualified criminal gangs mainly Eastern Europeans, working in conjunction with other criminal groups & they're not above people smuggling, prostitution rackets & Drugs. Makes for some pretty grim reading.

gold is faked too

Roughly 15 years ago – during the Clinton Administration [think Robert Rubin, Sir Alan Greenspan and Lawrence Summers] – between 1.3 and 1.5 million 400 oz tungsten blanks were allegedly manufactured by a very high-end, sophisticated refiner in the USA [more than 16 Thousand metric tonnes]. Subsequently, 640,000 of these tungsten blanks received their gold plating and WERE shipped to Ft. Knox and remain there to this day. I know folks who have copies of the original shipping docs with dates and exact weights of “tungsten” bars shipped to Ft. Knox.

Russia Says IMF Chief Jailed For Discovering All US Gold Is Gone | Pakalert Press

which ties in with what has happened to two prominent financial persons recently;)
On this website this is announced:

Quote:

In an astounding move puzzling many in Moscow, Putin after reading this secret FSB report today ordered posted to the Kremlin’s official website a defense of Strauss-Khan becoming the first world leader to state that the former IMF chief was a victim of a US conspiracy. Putin further stated, “It’s hard for me to evaluate the hidden political motives but I cannot believe that it looks the way it was initially introduced. It doesn’t sit right in my head.”
The link connects to the Daily Mail, well we all trust that and after some searching on the President Of Russia's website and the Prime Minister of Russia's website, I found Mr Putin said this:
Quote:

Question: Candidates for the post of the IMF managing director are now being discussed. Whom would you support? And what is your attitude towards the scandal surrounding Dominique Strauss-Kahn? Was he framed for political reasons?
Vladimir Putin: I don’t know much about the possible political reasons and don’t even want to touch on this issue, but it really is hard to believe that everything is as it was initially presented. I just can’t believe that – it is beyond me to understand it.
As for the candidates, different ones are being discussed. At the EurAsEC summit, we suggested the head of the Kazakhstan Central Bank. He is a very good specialist. Now our European partners are discussing the candidacy of the French finance minister. She is also a good choice. The decision must be made in a different place and at another level. However, the French candidacy is very serious.
Slightly different.......
No mention of the FSB report that is mentioned here:

Still why let the truth get in the way of a good conspiracy:rolleyes:

Apart from Conspiracy websites I can find little regarding this, It is possible of course, but if the US Government is going to go all that trouble then casting gold over the top of a Tungsten slug would be more fool proof, as the 'gold' would then have the same weight, texture, and pass a x-ray fluorescence scan. A 1/16" layer would be sufficent. Gold plating would not work.

So I am not saying it is not true, merely there is very little,if any proof, just speculation.

Margaret, The website you gave referenced the Daily Mail, not me, and we all know how true it is.
It goes on to say

Well there is no mention of this on ANY official Russian Government website, even though, YOUR truthful website states there is one.

Sorry but it does not add up

Well that's a bit lame, sorry but you like to tell me and others that we are wrong and then when we debunk you you say that. There is being sceptical and believing conspiracy websites over facts and proof, have they landed on the Moon yet?

You could say it's a cop out.

Must remember next time I go to work to check the Chemtrail, equipment on my Aircraft....
Still waiting for the Banks to crash and the Amero's to come in.....

I hope that my presentation of the alternatives to what you are told to believe, at least gives you the desire to explore those alternatives, and decide for yourself.
What conclusions you come to should not be rigid, but should be subject to modification in the light of new info.

To illustrate this I now say 'yes we did go the moon'
BUT - the tv footage of it was fabricated :D

Well if it was fabricated, there are quite a few thousand people who have been trusted with the real truth for over 40 years now. If it was a scam can you see everybody who was involved in it keeping quiet and not cashing in, no neither can I :D

Do not underestimate any government's capacity to supress the truth.
Upsetting their 'applecarts' has disatrous consequences for those who try.

I hear what your saying Margaret and to a point your right but to supress so many people that were involved in the moon project would, with human nature being what it is, been totally imposible

Re: what a clever scam by the royal mint

Forgetting the simple fact that USSR and China were waiting for the USA to mess up the Moon landings and therefore would broadcast this to the entire world.

The only evidence I have ever seen that we did not go or the TV was faked, was on some websites and in a few books with questionable 'evidence'.

However on the other side, I have seen first hand a Saturn V, various artefact from the Apollo program and even met, talked to and had my photo taken with Gene Cernan, the last man on the moon.

I still wait to see any real evidence that man did not land on the moon and that the TV was faked

I may be wrong here, but would it not be easy to point the hubble telescope and the landing sites and then say look there are the bits that we left behind or there they aint. Thus ending the debate forever?????:confused::confused::confuse d:
