As I've said before, if you're thinking of going into politics, you'd best toughen up quick. Having Mancie call you "Tory scum" is nowt compared to what you'll encounter in the big, wide world out there.

Still, if you've better things to do (and I should hope you do have at your age on Saturday night ;)) don't let us detain you...

The post I made explaining, was from the horses mouth. ;) As for Mancie, his rantings amuse me more than anything.

So, because those nasty boys won't play by the rules, you've taken your ball and gone home?

Oh well, our loss, I suppose... ;)

I believe it's against forum rules to publish pm's in threads, but anyone who wants a laugh, and wants to read the 'stop pickin' on me' missive, I'll happily forward it, if you're in need of a good guffaw.

As stated earlier, I for one always play by the rules, and have every faith in the current moderators, to point out if they are broken inadvertently by myself.

Oh it has nothing to do with playing by rules, just makes Accringtonweb boring and unenjoyable for me if some members just pick lines and words and go attacking at tangets rather than on the actual content of argument. Debate is great, petty comments are just boring. :D

Then stop posting them.
:)

(The rest of that quote was removed to relieve the boredom and prevent others going off at a Tanget).

Ooooh Less, petty, petty, petty.

Go away, have a little sulk for a month or so, and come back when you've licked your wounds.

But we don't wany anymore tears when no one remarks on your absence, and doesn't start a petition, demanding your return, because you were so very, very missed by one and all.

I might just do that...I wonder if Jaysay will tell everyone what a sensitive soul I am?

So near, yet so far.

I thought my work here was almost finished.

Nevermind, onwards and upwards.

Luckily stamina, as well as devilishly twisting those nasty things called words, and a memory to rival that of an elephant, is one of my finest attributes.

Fill this in first, and the probability is favourable.

Not exactly salesmen on that site are they?

Donation defaults to none, if it was my site I'd have it defaulted to the max then squeeze these pretentious oiks for even more.

Well, I suppose someone will have to take Jaysay's vacant place now, but I'll resist, tempting though it is.

It's great fun.

You have meetings, with dainty cucumber sandwiches, and get to interview lovely people, who've travelled far and wide, and who seem ever so keen to make a good impression.

I'd highly recommend it.

I quite like the idea of being a tart a heart.

Will there be royalties for the world syndication rights. I think we should have the premier somewhere exotic.

Maybe it could be screened in 3d at an IMAX.

But I do hope that it will be suitable for a family audience.

'Greyfriars Jaysay' will be a real tear jerker, suitable for all the family to view.
