Oh yes, forgive me for not being politically aware until 1970, when I was five.

Though I never wore jeans as a child. Shorts being much more practical than long trousers.

Enoch Powel tried it and was admonished for it. His prophesies, though sincerely delivered, have yet to materialise. I wait with baited breath!

It's also reportedly on the BBC News channel at the same time or you can listen to it on Radio 4 which is 92-95FM (or 198LW if anyone still actually does tune in that way!!!).

Not really, it wasn't ultimately their decision. The idea was to make it fair to the main broadcasters but also reach the widest audience which is why there is a certain amount of collaboration involved between the BBC, ITV and Sky.

Don't get used to it.

Once again, I shall be watching CIS on 5USA; that is all about fictional criminals getting caught, unlike those three real-life ones on Sky TV this evening who will be getting away with fraud, embazelment, perjury and High Treason.

Re: the BIG three tonight

hi cashie
it is truly amazing isn't it
FA cup ('cause it matters) is always terrestrial
Queen's speech the same
Party political broadcasts 'cause 'they' want everyone to know!!!
THEN - 'cause they're all in a tight corner it goes Sky where the viewing audience is a lot less - and innaccessible to the public who can't afford!!
It all boils down to one thing - and I'll think about that in a minute :(
