The christian alliance party...

what are their policies??

do they realistically have a good chance of winning? they seem to be the party with the most banners etc placed around the place.

Another spoilt(wasted) vote if you vote for them, just like voting for LibDem - only a hope for a hung parliament and then they might screw something out of Labour like they did the last time they did it.

Just seen a poster for Mr Logan in the window of a neighbour's house (hmph, so much for voting for a local candidate!). There is also a large 4x4 outside with 'Jesus Army' painted all over it.

I'll put them down as a possible.

I have no doubt at all that if Jesus was living in Hyndburn today, he'd be tearing down these posters.

I'm sorry to say that some of the rudest and least tolerant people I have come across in my life have been those who talk endlessly about the good works of Jesus.

That certainly doesn't go for everyone who visits church on a regular basis by any means, but the hypocrisy of the few has made a deep impression on me.

Hello Selena,
I have copyright over my theories on Complex Quantum Mechanics. I would consider letting you use the basis of my theoretical work for your book but I would like a % of your profits.
Quantum messaging does not work but if you want to use it as a fanciful excuse it will probably do. For hard sci fi it is rubbish.

i'd love to put a pic of jules from pulp fiction with his infamous quote up there too. that would get my vote.

http://www.fortunecity.com/lavender/.../701/jules.gif

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

A direct quote, taken from Logan's latest election leaflet, which was delivered yesterday, with a whole load of other unwanted flyers, for takeaways etc.

'Save our Children from schools that teach students they're MERELY hairless apes out of a Big Bang en route to a hopeless Black Hole and are then amazed when they behave like it.'

At the side of this text is a lovely photograph of Logan, with what looks suspicously like gel in his hair.

Hopefully are schools are teaching that punctuation sometimes makes sense of gibberish.

After reading the Rev Kev's comic, I wondered about his views on creationism. This business of Christ being born to a virgin can be quite hard for children to understand, maybe he should focus his views on the old God's, the pagan ones?
I refer him to the 1973 film 'The Wicker Man' I am sure he will find it quite liberating.....

Also, returning the country to good honest Christian Values, does this mean I will no longer be able to listen to subversive music from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Crowed House etc????
These are questions that must be asked.....
