Thank you to everyone for your kind comments. I will work as hard as I can. To have your name added after Ken Hargreaves and Greg Pope is a huge responsibility. After 10pm close, we went back home to the Stanley Club and Sydney Street Club for a quiet drink before going to the count. The people were fantastic even though the result was uncertain. For me it's about keeping your feet on the ground, not about living in a big house on the hill. |

Well Done Graham.........I am sure you will do our area proud, and I don't think you will have a hard time remebering your roots, because there are enough folk on here to remind you. |

Hurrah. Knackered after the Parkinson's group meeting today, and thought it was tonight, and I wouldn't be fit. Rindyrella will go to the ball, and toast Graham's historic victory, next week. :D |

Re: Well done, Graham Jones!
Where is Graham now, anyway? Is he still in Accy or is he down here in the smoke? It appears that most MP's have already assembled under their respective party auspices. I do hope that that he is not going to back any Labour deal with Clegg and the rest of the Lib-Dem blackmailing scum. Far better to have 6 months in opposition ( three months of that will be a holiday, anyway) and then get ready for the October election which will surely come.
So - in the interests of transparency, Graham - if you're reading this, will you let us know where you stand on any possible Lib-Lab pact/coalition? ( call it what you will). |
