Don't know how they manage with 24 hour drinking these days, in my day there were big enough head the balls with the old licencing laws, there being one or two on here including me:D:D

Is this really going to work do you think ? Or is it just going to put Pubs & Landlords under more pressure & so lead to more of them chucking the towel in & calling it a day = more jobless ?

I'd sooner increase the fines for the idiots who cause trouble after drinking, make them fund the policing of their own actions not hard pressed licensee trying to earn a living

Its the same old story cashy, penalise everybody for the few numpties, why should ordinary law abiding citizens have to foot the bill,(because any new tariffs will be passed on the the customer) for people who can't hold their drink. I can honestly say that I have never been in bother with the law for drinking, (well for that matter nothing else either) and in my prime I could drink with the best of um and often did;)
