What annoys me about these notices, seems they get so long in advance before shifting? WHY? are they not breaking the law? These notices should give em 24 hrs simple as, not more time to leave crap, :(

To where are they moving? And if they set up another illegal camp within the borough does the court order still stand?

Why can't HBC issue/pass a 'blanket' bye-law making behaviour like this anywhere in the Borough illegal, especially on Council owned land and as such requiring immediate police/Council action for a violation , seems the Council have no qualms about passing edicts enabling their goons to pass out immediate fines , with no trial for 'unsocialiable' behaviour not conducive to the public good such as tossing a cigarette butt or garbage incorrectly sorted .......... Sorry forgot... the folks who toss the occasionable cigarette butt or muck-up the early morning recycling are residents/council tax payers , who probably have a job and as such are a source of income to the Council .
I would be asking my local councillor ... Just who do you really represent .

Hopefully one or more will take the time to enlighten us

i recall somthing been mentioned about yet another gypo camp been built in hyndburn in previous posts so is it any wonder HBC act so slow to move them on when they are more concerned about acomodating them

screw what we think they will do as they please

hey the plans may have been abandoned but i definatly recall reading about it on here somewhere.

hope im wrong we need less of these campsites not more

Think your right their cashy, Its long been a bone of contention, that once a court order has been issued for piece of land then that order lasts indefinitely, so as the police can move them on if they return, but they can come back in 6 months and we go through the whole sorry story again, that's why there's a thread somewhere called Gypsies again

Couldn't agree more cashy, unfortunately the likes of Cherie Blair and her mates in chambers don't agree and make millions out of legal aid defending their rights:mad:
