Great stuff, so when this Magistrates Court shut the cases were heard at King Street, Blackburn (subject of another recent thread)

i'm near certain church cases went to Blackburn in those days after it closing wadey, can't swear to it though, was never done in Church.:D

There was a bit of a tale in the 70s the gist of which was make sure you got done in Church and NOT Accy as Mr Dixon the clerk at Church Magistrates wasn't keen on large fines
