On August the seventh I've arranged a trip for fifty people to have a three hour cruise on the canal.

I'm just hoping Skipton won't be affected.

Otherwise I'm going to have to think where you can take fifty people, quite a few in wheelchairs, on a Saturday afternoon in Yorkshire.

I think that the reservoirs-like the one at Rishton-were there to top up the canal when the level was low.
