First thing i see every morning when i open the front door, before the roadsweeper trundles past on the first of it's daily trips.
I was only making a point of how much it has changed in the last 5 years.

A couple of years ago I tackled the dog poo problem in my area by -
...not just griping on here but
...by pestering the environmental health dept, the dog warden, my local councillors (both Hyndburn and County), the council leader.
I even was featured in the Observer as 'Ossy's dog mess vigilante':D

In the end I got results - I have TWO red dog bins within sight of my front door

Moaning is fine - when you direct it to where it can produce results

The council don't 'let' them foul the pavements, they're just buggers to catch in the act. If you can photograph one man and his dog availing itself of its propinquity and find out who they are then you're laughing but it's not that easy.

As far as mini-motos are concerned, the same thing applies. Report things like that to the police with a good description of who and what you saw and when it took place. You need a licence to drive one and most kids don't bother with that sort of paperwork.

I'll say the same thing to you as I say to everyone else who has a gripe - don't moan about it, do something positive to remedy it.
