Accrington-the city that never sleeps!

Or was that New York?
I'm constantly amazed at the times some posts are posted! Is Accy so alive that some people never get to bed, are they insomniacs, aliens or on shifts?
Some of you are more alive at one in the morning than I am at one in the afternoon! Reasons why?

Re: Accrington-the city that never sleeps!

I get an overwhelming urge to sleep at odd times in the day.
In a 24 hour period I sleep about 9 hours in total.
I am trying to stabilise it to 7 hours at night and two midday, but can sometimes lapse into a '4 hours awake, 2 hours sleep' cycle.
It has a technical name - hypersomnia.
I don't fret about it - I always have great dreams :)

Time differences in different areas, we're an hour in front of UK here, plus I have to get up early for work (the Germans keep strange hours). :)

Self employment dictates some crazy hours sometimes.

Tea breaks at 3am are not uncommon for me.

We tried that once, but after the third gunshot we got the message. The mower also jerks around so which plays merry hell with typing replies.

I stick to the film editing side of things whilst looking at Accyweb these days.

Mowing of communal lawns at 7am recently wasn't popular where I live.

You mean to say the council workers started before their time, they'd have to have left the depot at 6-30am:eek:

It's the first thing anyone thinks and they're actually very frustrating things to film. Continuity of the bedsheets, noise wildtracks and then stop-starting as they change positions. Not only that, you always feel the urge to get in there with them.

Being a film cameraman on Big Brother at night is no fun.

'Accrington-the city that never sleeps'

I noticed very early this morn that the local vampire had been at it again during the night.

but the mods had removed all trace by the time most folk got up;)
