Re: Wiki Leaks

I read comment on the leaks ... and some of the leaks themselves .... what surprises me is that folks are, well, surprised at the contents and the directions of US foreign policy. Catching the general drift, I don't see much that the great American public would not agree with. The irony, the paradox, I'm pondering (that's what lots of people do while drinking their first cup of mud, and catching up on the news) is that countries which claim to be free societies (I say "claim", not "are") are ones which keep their people uninformed, and generally in the dark about what they are doing in foreign and domestic policy. I do believe that what WikiLeaks promotes the health of democracy. Unfortunately, the great democracies will respond in the wrong way, circling the wagons, so to speak.

Love your picture - Rex and Fluff as well, ask Mez about Rex, he used to stop the Ribble bus, so she didn't have to run as fast to catch it.:D

When the Israelis took out the Iraqi nuclear power station they overflew Saudi - and then complained that the hazard lights on the 40T2 radar at Tabuk were not working.

Mossad dont need to 'fly over'.
They are murdering the scientists that operate the nuclear plants.

One today -
Iranian nuclear scientist 'killed by Mossad or the CIA' - Telegraph
..and another earlier this year -
France24 - Nuclear scientist killed in bomb blast; foreign ministry blames US, Israel

Seem to remember when the Tabuk radar/ tracking stuff was upgraded it was installed 180° out (North being South and South being North ) caused a bit of a flap for a few hours . :D :D

think the Phamacutical company documents could be interesting especially if it shows some sort of ratio for development/manufacturing costs v retail costs .

Ir's been hard, the past couple of days, to avoid hearing and reading lots about the leaks. But, really, is there anything in them which surprises anyone? It's just politics without the PCism that politicians spout in their public announcements.
