democracy isnt the answer it seems?? unless the police,nhs. and armed forces are removed from paliament and governed independently by a varied political team Imho.

yes to most off us there is a simple deterent, to others who dont live in towns or working class cities still think their out off touch ideas work !!!

Maybe we could use he old cures Stumped, seem to remember they used to work better than the modern day ones:rolleyes:

The Police and Criminal Evidence put paid to 'summary justice' being meted out on the spot. Whilst not wishing to condone bullying in any shape or form, it turned what was a police 'force' into a 'service', neutralised operational precedences at a stroke and rendered current operational policing a joke - not to mention a total loss of public respect for the true boys and girls in blue (or should I say yellow).

I had a few clips around the ears with a copper in my much younger days and even a whack with his cape and I think, along with National Service, it made me a better law abiding citizen. I have been in court once as a witness and once for my divorce, nothing else.

Never got one Jay but close on a couple of occasions going over the back wall of the Cattle Market - the threat certainly put a spring in my legs.;):D

So this is what it boils down to.. I reckon you will be the first to reply on here at any mention of shariah law taking over our own law..you can't have it both ways. :rolleyes:
