Plus, aren't the gates to the arcade closed at night?

Does it have anything to do with this?

Which missing posts?

Give us a clue, without risking them disappearing.

This is interesting. Is the Victorian Arcade going upmarket? Is it going to be Accy's answer to Mayfair's Burlington Arcade? If so, will it have a Beagle? (thats a bloke who dresses like an idiot with a top hat and threatens you with arrest if you whistle as you walk through).

If so, could I nominate Garinda for the role?

My, my.

You have suprised me.

You, being able to do three things at once.

Walk, whistle, and sell whelks, all at the same time.

My suggestion that The Britcliffe Arms proposed earlier in a post which has also disappeared should be replaced by The Gogogadget Arms.

Possibly DIC Entertainment have been on about copyright?

I would imagine that if this is true Bernie, so long as they don't change the outside appearance of the units it wouldn't contravene any listed status, but I'm not totally sure

True.

The units which were used for the catalogue returns, were all knocked through already.

You could walk through at least three of them.

Wasn't 100% sure G but I thought the listed status only covered the inside of a property, but I think there must be other thing which would have to be adhered to on the inside too, but there again not too sure

I'm led to believe that it isn't quite so simple. Cllr Marlene Haworth indicated that they couldn't widen the upper balconies of the Market Hall because of the listed status of the building.

The arcade needs something radical.

It looks terrible, with so many empty units inside.

It should be the jewel in the town's crown.

Perhaps if a newish cafe opens it's second branch in there, it will be.

Ya Ken but that's a little different, if you get my drift, the inside balcony may well be covered, as I said in my original post there will probably be some inside structures which be covered, in the case of the balcony I can quite see the point, its like inside but an out side facet which adds to the overall look
