Does that mean that the Black Horse could be bought for residential use or has it to remain a pub?

The first plot, back of the coppice is interesting. It's area I know well, I do a lot of walking over there. I'll be keeping a watching brief on that one. It also says contact Blackburn Planning Department. Why Blackburn I don't know.

In theory it could I suppose Lindsay. But they would need change of use I would imagine. We also have a Town Centre Plan, which is supposed to control what type of development will be allowed in the town centre. So that could have some bearing on it.

Just noticed that there's a "For Auction" sign on the old wharf building next to the old Church Commercial. Will the preservation order stay on it if it is sold?

I saw the plot by the lodges for sale on a website a few months back.

I assume it hasn't sold because there is some upkeep clause with the lodges etc.? I might be wrong...

How about all us "Accywebbers" club together and buy the lodge? That would be brill - we could have meetings up there in the summer time and charge for anyone to fish there!
