I would suggest a Freudian slip on Baggys part in this instance. Or do you see people with strong views & opinions as racists ? If so then it raises a rather interesting juxtaposition. Since you feel strongly about the views of someone else & your views are strongly opposed & divergent to theirs, doesn't that then make you a racist to all intents & purposes ?

Once more the condemnation of someone as a racist in light of their views & opinions ! Below the definition of racism :-
racism [ˈreɪsɪzəm], racialism [ˈreɪʃəˌlɪzəm]n1. (Sociology) the belief that races have distinctive cultural characteristics determined by hereditary factors and that this endows some races with an intrinsic superiority over others
2. (Sociology) abusive or aggressive behaviour towards members of another race on the basis of such a beliefracist , racialist n & adj
Now as far as I can see the above has not been specific in posts by Baggy, so I would think your remarks & assumptions may not be entirely accurate. Ergo, you're approaching the issue from a pre-determined view point & with a specific mind set, thereby not allowing for reasoned argument & a reliance on typical "anti" rhetoric which hinders any form of balanced dialogue.
And there we have the crux of the problem ! If these limited views (within this forum) are a reflection on the broader Society as a whole then surely it is no wonder the levels of resentment & alienation, felt throughout the populace (irrespective of race, religion, ethnicity, origin & so-forth) is in such an inflammatory state & the longer the situation persists, the more embittered & embattled the relevant sides will become & the cries of racist certainly won't help alleviate the whole sorry mess ! So the EDL & their counter-parties, love them or loathe them are in their way raising awareness of the underlying tensions, that without rectification will lead to much greater problems.
