Quite true, it is a shame that successive government's have failed to adhere to that.

True but that does not mean we should just keep throwing money into a bottomless pit just because it saves lives. Lives can be saved more efficiently.

i'd go without a knee replacement tbh. my uncle went in for a routine knee op - the idiots got cement in his blood stream and killed him instantly.

my friends granma also just passed after a 'routine' op on her hip, the changed her from being fine to disabled and she died shortly after.

you couldnt pay me to go into a hospital nowadays.

I agree with you on that, hospitals either killed you or cure you, and these days they will also give you another illness as well.

Yes, how true, tragic even, what's the chances of it improving with the 'we're in it together alliance', somehow I feel some of us are altogether up to our necks and others seem able to walk on the surface of this crap, but then I and other pleb's like me probably deserve it.

Why (and this is the case with all the parties) do they keep changing things ? Nobody understands the latest proposals and it just creates uncertainty and always costs billions, 12 billion on a computer system that doesn't work !

Keep on worrying........it's like rocking in a rocking chair...it doesn't matter how much you do it, it doesn't move you anywhere....but it does give you something to do:)
