Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.

"The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Usama alive or dead," the source said.

Bin Laden, according to the source, was suffering from a serious lung complication and succumbed to the disease in mid-December, in the vicinity of the Tora Bora mountains. The source claimed that bin Laden was laid to rest honorably in his last abode and his grave was made as per his Wahabi belief.

About 30 close associates of bin Laden in Al Qaeda, including his most trusted and personal bodyguards, his family members and some "Taliban friends," attended the funeral rites. A volley of bullets was also fired to pay final tribute to the "great leader."

The Taliban source who claims to have seen bin Laden's face before burial said "he looked pale ... but calm, relaxed and confident."

They have denied having any involvement with Al Quaeda.......and frequently denied that Bin Laden was in their country....they have denied that training camps were in place for terrorists in their country. In Pakistan and other muslim countries, Jihad is seen as honourable.

I know we have terrorists in this country that we aren't aware of......that doesn't mean Pakistan didn't know of what was going on in their country.



As for the foreign aid......yes, I agree, Any country that can afford a nucelar program, or can fund a space program (India) should not be dipping their fingers into our pockets for aid.

According to Obama pictures of Bin Ladens head/body are too graphic to be released for public view .... but its okay to show pictures of folks leaping out of the Twin Towers and folks having their heads chopped off by the Taliban/Al Queda .

The morning his death was announced on the news, they mentioned there was a photograph, taken by a U.S. soldier on his mobile.

Quick search for 'Bin Laden dead body', and there he was.

It came up as an insecure link, so l didn't hang about.

It was his face, taken as he was led face up on the floor. White turban, small beard, and features we would associate as looking like him.

He was minus a right eye. In it's place was a deep, bloody hole.

He could have been sleeping, but he didn't look very well if he was.
