The Plough have just announced this on their facebook page
"Due to an oversight with a minor variation to a premises license we cannot open to the public for another 2 weeks as per Hyndburn Borough Council. Although this is a blow to us, and you our customers it gives us even more time to train our staff and iron out any small bugs.....Hang in their Folks, it will be worth the wait. NB If anyone wants to complain to the Council on our behalf please feel free!!!"

Looks as though The Queens is having some sort of refurbishment. Notice the pub name signs have been taken off.

Would taking it down not be homophobic?

Who can say? P.C. brigades only want to be seen to be correct, they don't really care about different groups living in harmony.
