I have found the letter which shows how much we pay for the aerial - £1.21 a week (whether you use it or not)

...so if you can find the old socket somewhere on your windowsill, you could use that.

I have always used the old Ariel Margaret, mine was never connected, I have permission from HH to retain my own Sky Dish, because the company who installed the new aerials couldn't provide me with multi room, so I have it in writing that I can keep my dish. Incidental the firm who did the work on the new system went bust I believe

Do HH still require you to pay for the aerial that you can't use?
Some of my neighbours have refused connection.

Don't know Margaret, HH are a funny sort of a firm, they very rarely seem to know what they're doing:rolleyes:

I would have thought clockwork ... or extra long extension cords so that you guys can steal power from more developed parts of the world ... like, say, the bottom end of Clayton;):D As soon as indoor plumbing comes to Ossy, the flushing of the bogs will no doubt be used to generate hydro-electric power .... and there will be lots of it, at least until the novelty of flush toilets wears off:eek:

If you have a Sky socket, then FreeSat should work, if not somethings misaligned, both my Sky & FreeSat are recieved from the same quad head.
Retlaw.
