Re: Local Radio in Accy
I'm a century 105.4 fan especially in the car. Last night on the way home I couldn't wait to get this side of glossop so I could get rid of the racket on radio 1 & back to century

Re: Local Radio in Accy
I'm afraid I've turned into a Radio Twoie as well, it must be a turning 40 thing Gayle!;)
Love Janice Long, and I am with Less as l love Alex Lester. I do like James Whale though on Talk Sport and often flick between the two. Car's always on Classic FM though. Will tune into Bee and give it a listen, and the very best of luck.:) |
Re: Local Radio in Accy
Radio Lancashire....has really gone down the pan just latley,
its turning into a jingle every five minuites with traffic information, guess the recording artist , and how many times do you want reminding that you are listening to radio lancashire. there must be a competition to see which presenters can say lancashire the most in each hour. I have given up with it ..... Rad 2, for me and Bee |
Re: Local Radio in Accy
I alternate between R2 and The Wave on the way to work; I have to or I get complaints from the Staff. Wogan's silly letters make me smile and I have been a fan of Steve Wright for ages, though he is not as funny as he was when he had the afternoon show on R1. At home things are different, it is R3. I tried Classic FM but the station idents and the adverts really got on my t*ts, plus the breadth of music on offer pales into insignificance by comparison with R3.
I must confess I have not really tried online Radio Stations since the sound quality of my laptop's speakers is pretty tinny to say the least. Anyone had any experience of DAB? |
