I know if my dentist, my optician or the assistant in Superdrug ask me about my personal fitness, smoking or alcohol habit...they will be told in no uncertain terms that it is none of their business.
The damn cheek of them!

Oh yes, and if anyone tells me to cut back on my grub.......I am going to tell them I am not fat, I am pregnant!

Sadly, I don't have that luxury, Margaret. I shall just have to stick to being gratuitously offensive.

I am damned if I am giving up or cutting down something else!!!!

I have already done the most sensible thing and given up the fags. 18 months now without the dreaded weed and not feeling terribly fit due to having gallstones. This means that I have had to reduce my once cheese, cream and butter rich diet to one of tasteless, low fat tedium. There is no way I am cutting down my red wine habit. I have a glass most nights, rarely go overboard and it is the only thing my stones can tolerate at the moment.... That's my excuse and I'll jolly well stick to it :D

Well, A-B, there is nothing at all to stop you from saying it....after all you are just as likely as I am, to be pregnant.
My god, if either of us were(pregnant, that is) we would be worth thousands:)

Ouber, you have my sympathy.

I did come across one intriguing possibility to end a drink famine. It involved leaning a couple of of those infuriating magic tricks that one could easily work at a table. You know the sort of thing, how do you get all the matchsticks back in the box without touching them kinda stuff. Then you go out to the bars and get people to pay to solve the puzzle.

just a thought.

used to do the one where you had to hit the cueball off the bottom cushion on a pool table and have it land back in the "D" from where you started without hitting any other cusions.

since the removal of the "D" from pool tables this is no longer a viable drink provider :(

No John...although it would be a miracle.

The very thought of a prospect such as that makes me shudder.
I like babies, but I can't eat a full one.:)

Just goes to show.. the nanny state has removed the "D" from pool tables so less chance of a free pint.. next thing you know a snooker behind the pink to the brown will be banned ;)
