Strange that the very same bus station was a clean as a new pin just a couple of weeks ago when HRH turned up. I see it as it really is every week day morning, a dump, although to be fair there is now a new "nutter" hanging around, very entertaining he is too!

If I am up late or cannot be bothered to walk to work-- I get the m&m bus @ 8oclock. It always seems to be the messiest part of the bus station. Is that created by all the claytoners returning to their smelly part of town? ;)

(yep that's a joke-- top end of Clayton does seem to smell at times)

or is it just because there is often a lot of kids catch the bus there to go to school, whether it be moorhead, st chrises or wherever those other schools are....

Looks like we are back to square 1 :(

Took these pictures about 10 seconds after the street cleaner went past the shop. No the rubbish didn't just appear in those 10 seconds, he just couldn't be bothered picking it up.

The pictures actually make it look cleaner than it was.

Out of curiosity do Hyndburn Council not have one of those machines which clean chewing gum up ?

Seeing you posted this at 10pm last night Dave, has there been any movement this morning, something usually happens when things are discussed on here, ya know things like personal visits from council leaders (or their deputy) if you moan about HBC:rolleyes:

Looked down at my feet whilst waiting for the bus only to find my self horrified at almost standing on a syringe. Hold it. No panic stations. Tell nearest person.

Was that you lancsdave?

If the person you told kicked them in to the road then it was me :)

Amazing that the cctv cameras on there spotted a sign outside the toilets when the Tories closed them, yet they never seem to spot people injecting themselves sat in a bus shelter

It's a regular occurence but maybe the problem will shift on to Broadway when Maundy start expanding on to there and the Arndale to fill all the empty shops

Yeah was you. Thanks for that. I couldn't have done much refferring to the "are you scared of needles" thread with it myself. Hospitals and Doc's I will grin and bear it--the pointer of that needle may as well have been 10ft and it was pointing right at my foot when I looked at it. ugh.

I may have to start re-evaluating my opinion about maundy....
