Such sad news -i remember reading recently somewhere on here that he was very sick.

Met him a few times back in the 80's - he was a really nice man and an excellent representative for the town.

Sad news about Ken. Ken was the Mayor of Hyndburn when I first became a Councillor. Served on many committees and local charities over the years with Ken. And I can honestly say that I have never heard anybody say a bad about Ken. Very unassuming man Ken as well.

Ken was respected across the whole Hyndburn community and further afield. He never did anything for personal advantage but always put other people first and did his very best to help them.

Ken was a real gentleman who I always felt was in touch wiyh the people who he represented - a very humble man with a real Christian faith RIP Ken
