Calm down.

It's only milk...and perhaps straws, if you're good.

You'll have to up your game, if you think you have the qualities that would see you promoted to the exalted office of biscuit monitor.

Well happily at least one issue raised in this thread seems to have been addressed succesfully.

All it took was an earlier example, of a bit of newbie versus oldie bitch-slappin', karma deductions, and nasty name calling, caused by a simple difference of opinion.

http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...ion-59845.html

Proving that this forum is as it's always been.

Lively, and compared to most, relatively successful.

All is well.

Let's please keep it thus.

:)

Just thought I'd better point out I wasn't being rude by using the phrase 'bitch-slapped.'

It's a now commonly used phrase derived from the sort of behaviour much seen in classic Hollywood movies. Normally ones starring Bette Davis, and especially if she was co-starring with Miss Joan Crawford.

The late Lord Forte's grandaughter, Alex Polizzi used it just the other week on her programme The Hotel Inspector, when someone's taste in soft furnishings was called into question.

It is in the dictionary, and in no way refers to the actual two ladies having their little differences of opinion on here, in the given linked thread.

Any similarities, to those two members, are purely coincidental.

:)

It isn't in my trusty Collins dictionary and thesaurus which weighs 10kg-the one that has travelled the world with me for the last 30-odd years:o

Do you think it's time to update -it's costing me a lot of extra luggage charges with Ryan-air every time I go anywhere...

Isn't "coincidental" the opposite of "intentional" - I mean the posting of that particular link;):D
