Maybes you're taking the black to literally, they may not mean black as a skin colour but in a more euphemistic way. Lets face it, they aren't exactly whiter than white & holier than thou some of these priests according to some of the hearsay.

There is one thing wrong with the list , Margaret . It does not include the man who will be the next pope .

The next pope will be Cardinal Tagle , the Archbishop of Manila . He will be the first pope to take the name Joseph , and so we will have Pope Joseph I in about a month's time .

The BBC's list of ten frontrunners includes Cardinal Tagle but is slightly different in other respects from Margaret's list.
