I actually went to a theater with him as the main billing, at half time everyone headed for the bar, they rang a gong to let folk know the second torment was about to begin.
I asked the barman for another drink before having to go back, he gave me the drink and said, 'the second half is even longer than the first, if you want I'll stay and serve you throughout, I've seen it 3 nights on the run and would rather be here'.
I took his advice and enjoyed myself.

That guy was a saint, he could obviously see someone else in torment.
