You would if they kept the pound. That's why they want to keep it, we'd have to bail them out, not the EU. If they go down they'd drag us with them, it was bad enough when only their banks went bust, imagine if the whole country went the same way.
Salmond would know he could spend money like water and always have us to foot the bill when he went too far.

its all just what if though because unless truely stupidly drunk no one in their right mind would opt for independence from england they get it too good even under tory leadership

unless of course they really havnt got over loosing a few battles and still resent england that much

If they do get independence will there be forced repatriation before the final hole in the wall is bricked up and the razor wire laid on the ramparts around the machine gun post set at ten yard intervals :D
