Re: are we heading to world war 3
tory splits also Ministers face sack over Syria shambles - Telegraph we cant keep thinking we are a power in the world its the Brazilians Chinese u.s.a. Canada etc that are the power houses now and they have their own human rights issues . brazil the hunting down of homeless kids and disappearances china people disappearing and the rest the u.s of a .the millions of homeless that don't appear on their official figures plus the ones in Canada too . we have no money they say , so why use a couple of billion bombing compounds in civilian areas which would back fire if any civilians were killed.

don't talk rubbish, we cant afford the bombs according to your lot:D:D even some of your lot are sceptical .this has improved our security .why would you bomb a country thousands of miles away without the proof. as they say a conflict of interests as camerons aide was employed by the rebels. lets watch the americans bomb them and see the consequences .

Well, I clicked on the link.....waited, waited and waited...then gave up...figuring that if C'mon had posted the link, he probably hadn't read it properly and it would say something other than what he thought it said. You know he is only interested in controversial/contentious headlines anyway, and frequently the article means something other than what the headline portrays.

Re: are we heading to world war 3
I did the same thing Maragret, could not find anything, however the source seems to be Russian, well there's a surprise and even more it is just a suggestion, as I have said a few times, it is interesting that the Russians have a close relationship with the Assad regime.
Back to the unpalatable taste that is happening, people are being killed for no good reason, Men, Women and Children and yet the resident dog stabber gloats at how the British Government were defeated. In order order there is this: Dan Hodges Quits Labour Over Syria - Guy Fawkes' blog Briefly it tells of the five demands Ed Milliband made to David Cameron over the vote for action on Syria and how David Cameron agreed to those on the understanding that he would get the support of the Labour Party, only to find out Milliband has used this as a change for political gain..... The Conservative party may not be very nice, but how can anyone vote for Labour with this clown in charge, he has allowed the Syrian regime to carry on murdering innocent human beings for his own political gain, he has blood on his hands. Thank goodness we did not have Ed Milliband around in the late 1930's or even the early 1980's........ |

Re: are we heading to world war 3
It saddens me to think that a man who has children can give orders for civilian population of his own people to be hit with biological weapons...weapons for which there can be no excuse. (I do believe it was the Assad regime who used these weapons...and before anyone tells me that beliefs are not facts....I know, but the other arguments do not make sense to me)
Now even the President of the US is going to follow the lead of our PM and go to the representatives of the public. Does this mean that they have seen the futility of wading into a region that is in conflict, and where they can make no good difference...only make matters worse? Why are the Arab nations sitting on their hands? Isn't this conflict in their backyard? And what a surprise! France has decided that it cannot take on this conflict on its own...but was ready to hang onto the coat tails of the bigger and more powerful US. |

Sorry...I forgot. You don't do discussion or debate...you rely on posting dubious links from publications......and cut and paste stuff out of context. I'm not entirely sure you really do know what should be the outcome. If, as you say, we haven't got the money to indulge in a conflict, then shouldn't you be rejoicing that we aren't going to be involved. Nations who want to go to war always find the money from somewhere...even if that is at the expense of budgets at home. |
