So sad to hear this news, I'll miss him.

So, so sad - he will be missed by so many. I had the pleasure of meeting him twice, such a character and always so cheerful despite the many difficulties he had to endure every day. RIP John - my condolences to his family.

very sad news a very good man indeed who wasnt afraid to speak his mind and call a spade a spade as the saying goes

his honesty and bluntness will be remembered for a long time here as will be his typos

I too had the pleasure of meeting him. He was such a soldier, cheerful despite serious health problems.
No more suffering John. RIP
