Have you contacted the Town Hall to ask them why they didn't do something about it at the time? Have you contacted the Police? Or are you just expecting something to happen because you had a moan on the internet?

To park where? I know you can park at the side of the market hall with a permit from a stall holder but outside the town hall you can't even drive to it so you can park. Unless of course those signs were put up without a traffic order making them enforceable

I have just asked them again why using the contact form on their website. It appears they don't monitor their twitter account very often or maybe they were ignoring my question

Apart from the parking problem, i do not ever remember the town hall area looking as clean, vibrant, and colourful.

This is correct, one for them and one for us.

Again - they are the council and they are able to give themselves or seek permission from the government for permission to park there as it is their land, the general public are excluded from this so we cannot park there.

The mayors car will be included in the council permission.

Or the traffic wardens, being employed at some point by the councils may be told to leave vehicles parked there alone if they are obviously council vehicles leave them.

They will likely ignore all requests for clarification of council vehicle parking in that area. You would need to make a proper data request to get full disclosure as they are legally required to answer those.

Grab a traffic warden etc and ask them.

I got a phone call from them a couple of days ago.

Supposedly they have special dispensation from Lancashire County Council to drive and park there.
