Re: A great show
I've had my eyes over 76 years now and have no intention of deliberately ruining them by looking directly at the sun.
I have a variable density filter for my camera and started by setting at it maximum density and using the view finder on the camera to watch the eclipse. I slowly turned the filter until it allowed enough light through without damaging my eye and also the very sensitive sensors in my camera. And as the song says. " I can see clearly now". No cresent burnt into my retina. You were warned. |

Re: A great show
I managed to get up as well, didn't have to leave the room though, just poked the lens through the bedroom window. A few shots then back between the sheets.
Rudely awakened by the door bell ringing but delighted to see the doctor man. I think the problem davemac has with taking photos of the eclipse was it didn't involve crawling on his knees getting his gusset wet, is that right mate. |
